The Capsule
Robert Morris and Penn State will meet for the fourth time Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Jeffrey Field in University Park, Pa. It has been 14 years since the last meeting between these squads in the 1999 season. RMU, sitting at 1-2-2 overall, is looking for its first road victory of the season. The Nittany Lions are 2-2-1 overall.
 
The Series vs. Penn State
The Colonials and Nittany Lions have met three times with all three games ending in 3-0 losses for RMU. Two of those games were in the NCAA Tournament First Round – 1993 and 1994. The last game in this series was in 1999, another 3-0 loss for the Colonials.

Robert Morris earned its first win of the season last week before dropping a 3-2 contest at Canisius Sunday. Junior Carl Reid and sophomore Neco Brett lead the team in scoring with five points each (two goals, one assist). Seniors Miro Cabrilo and Luca Campos each tallied their first markers of the season at Canisius Sunday. Freshman Joseph Kuta has played every minute in net, accumulating a 1.29 goals against average.
 
What's Next?
The Colonials return to North Athletic Complex to start a three-game homestand beginning with a 3:00 p.m. contest against Niagara Friday, Sept. 20.
