Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Robert Morris University women's hockey team fell one spot to No. 8 in the USA Today / USA Hockey Magazine Poll and retained the same position in the USCHO.com rankings this week.

Robert Morris received 52 points from USCHO and 73 from USA Today / USA Hockey Magazine. The Colonials are ahead of No. 9 Quinnipiac in both polls, holding respective advantages of 23 and 39 points.

This is the eighth-straight time that RMU has found itself in the Top 10. The Colonials spent four consecutive weeks in both rankings' 'receiving votes' category before cracking the polls for the first time in school history.

RMU broke a single-season school record for victories this past weekend at Mercyhurst. The Colonials won their 20th game, surpassing the previous mark of 19, set by the 2011-12 team that won the program's first College Hockey America (CHA) Championship.

Robert Morris finishes its six-game road trip this weekend in the Show Me State. The Colonials take on Lindenwood at 7:00 p.m. Friday from Lindenwood Ice Arena.
