Green To Continue Pro Career in Chile

Former forward inks contract with CDU Concepcion

Moon Township, Pa. – Former forward Dallas Green (2006-10) of the Robert Morris University men's basketball team recently agreed to terms with CDU Concepcion of Liga Nacional in Chile.

The 2014-15 campaign marks Green's second year in Liga Nacional, as he spent the 2013-14 season with AB Ancud, averaging 23.7 points and 13.1 rebounds in 21 games. He also supplied AB Ancud with averages of 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals per contest.

Green also spent the 2012-13 season in Chile, helping lead Espanol de Talca to the 2013 Libcentro championship and cup final by averaging 22.1 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 24 games.

In four seasons with the Colonials, Green appeared in 104 games, earning 54 starts. He averaged 4.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game and shot 52.8 percent (178-for-337) from the field and 71.4 percent (140-for-196) at the free-throw line.

Three times in four seasons with Green on the roster Robert Morris appeared in the postseason, including the 2008 MasterCard National Invitation Tournament (NIT) and back-to-back NCAA Tournament (2009, 2010) automatic bids. Green etched his name in RMU folklore in the 2009 Northeast Conference Tournament championship game, as his jumper with 2.5 seconds to play helped lift the Colonials to a 48-46 victory over Mount St. Mary's at the Charles L. Sewall Center.

Robert Morris posted a record of 90-42 from 2006-10, a winning percentage of .682 that is tops in school history for a four-year period. Green holds the record for winning percentage by class, which also includes former guards Jimmy Langhurst and Mezie Nwigwe.

Green began his professional career with the Little Rock Showstoppers, a semi pro team in Little Rock, Ark., in 2012. In the summer of 2012, Green played with Frayles de Guasave in Sinaloa, Mexico, of CIBACOPA. In 12 games he averaged 11.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per contest.
