Two squads undefeated after the opening weekend of College Hockey America action will face off in 84 Lumber Arena this weekend, when the
Robert Morris University women's hockey team hosts Syracuse on Friday, Nov. 4 at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 5 at 3:05 p.m.
Robert Morris (6-1-3, 2-0-0) looks to remain undefeated at home following a weekend sweep of Mercyhurst, while Syracuse (2-4-2, 2-0-0) also hopes to continue its winning ways, as the Orange swept Lindenwood in their first two games of league play.
The Colonials have not kicked off a conference season with two wins since 2013-14.

The Colonials aren't the only team who had success in their opening weekend of CHA action. Syracuse also enters the series following a CHA-opening sweep (a pair of 4-0 shutout victories over Lindenwood). Penn State is also 2-0-0 in conference play after the Nittany Lions earned four points against RIT.

Jaycee Gebhard have combined for 39 points through 10 games. They are currently the second-most productive forward line in NCAA Division I women's hockey.
Syracuse returns veteran forwards Alysha Burriss, Stephanie Grossi, and Jessica Sibley, who have recorded a collective six goals and 10 assists to lead the Orange.
RMU is averaging 7.90 points per game to Syracuse's 4.88.

RMU leads the country in faceoff wins (313), and ranks second in the nation in power-play goals (11) and power-play points (32), tied for seventh in assists (51), eighth in points (79), tied for 10th in goals (28), and sixth in power-play percentage (.193).
