Jessica Dodds of the
Robert Morris University women's hockey team was named College Hockey America (CHA) Goalie of the Week, announced the league Monday afternoon.
This is Dodds' 11
th career CHA Goalie of the Week honor, her second this season, and 13
th overall weekly nod from the conference.
On Saturday, Dodds helped Robert Morris (7-1-4, 3-0-1) to a 2-1 victory over Syracuse to remain undefeated in CHA action. She stopped 35 of 36 shots faced in the win, and improved to 3-0-3 on the year. The Colonials are now one point ahead in the CHA standings.
RMU's all-time winningest goaltender, Dodds ranks 10
th in the nation in save percentage (.944) and 12
th in goals against average (1.60).
Robert Morris travels to Rochester, N.Y., this weekend to take on CHA opponent RIT on Friday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 12 at 2 p.m.
