Moon Township, Pa. – The
Robert Morris University men's lacrosse team's four-game winning streak has the Colonials on the national Division I men's lacrosse radar. For the first time since 2012, RMU is receiving votes in the
USILA/Nike Division I Coaches Poll.
Fellow Northeast Conference (NEC) member Bryant is also receiving votes in this week's national poll.
Robert Morris' (4-1) 9-7 win at High Point marked its fourth consecutive victory. The last time a Robert Morris men's lacrosse team won four consecutive non-conference games was in 2011 when the Colonials won five straight outside of NEC action. RMU held its opponent to single-digit scoring for the fourth straight game. The Colonials have outscored their opponents, 52-29, during the current unbeaten streak.
The Colonials boast the No. 3 man-up offense in the nation (.636), and rank among the top 20 in caused turnovers per game (10
th; 8.80), winning percentage (t-10
th; .800), points per game (13
th; 20.40), assists per game (t-15
th; 7.80), scoring margin (16
th; 3.80), scoring offense (17

Adrian Torok-Orban is one of 25 players nationally who currently boasts a 20-plus game point scoring streak (20 games, 43 goals, 14 assists, 57 points since Apr. 25, 2015).
