Moon Township, Pa. - Robert Morris University women's lacrosse will be represented at the IWLCA Senior All-Star game, 2018 captain, senior midfielder
Dana Davis, has been named to the North squad. Davis is one of just 44 Division I players to be invited to this elite event, one of three from the Northeast Conference.
Davis is the second Colonials student-athlete to be selected for the IWLCA Senior All-Star lineup, following 2016 graduate, the NCAA's all-time draw controls leader,
Jessica Karwacki, who went on to earn the honors as 2016 All-Star MVP.
The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, June 2, 2018. The Division I teams will play the first game at 11:30 am, followed by the Division II and III games. Admission for all three games is free of charge. The games will also be web-streamed live on

The players selected in each Division have been divided into North and South, with the other two NEC selections from Wagner representing the South squad.
Davis, a senior from Garnet Valley, Pa., led the Colonials midfield in 2018, recording 30 ground balls, 50 draw controls and 20 caused turnovers, to go with her 20 goals and 5 assists this season. In the 2018 season, Davis ranked among the NCAA's active career leaders in ground balls (6th, 183), ground balls per game (15th, 2.73), caused turnovers (11th, 96) and caused turnovers per game (31st, 1.43).
This season, Davis became RMU's all-time ground balls leader, graduating with the new record set at 184. Davis finished her Colonials career ranked sixth in points (133) and goals (102) in the RMU record books, third all-time in draw controls (145) and second all-time in caused turnovers (98).
A first-team all-Northeast Conference selection in both 2017 and 2018, Davis made an NEC squad in all four years of her career, earning second-team honors in 2016 and was a member of the all-Rookie team in 2015. Davis was selected as the Team MVP for the 2017 season as well. The Colonials reached the NEC tournament in each of Davis' four seasons at RMU.
Davis earned a spot on the NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll each year, as well as being a member of the Dean's List in every semester at Robert Morris. Davis was the recipient of the 2018 Presidential Scholar-Athlete at the Robert Morris University all-sports banquet, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.92 GPA and Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing.
Davis has also been selected to play on the USA Athletes International (USAAI) Lacrosse Team in Australia in the Summer of 2018.
