Moon Township, Pa. – The Robert Morris University women's soccer team has announced its 2019 schedule, featuring a total of 18 regular-season games, with nine of them played at the North Athletic Complex.
This upcoming season's slate sees two first-time opponents in the Northeast Conference (NEC) portion, with Merrimack entering the league and St. Francis Brooklyn beginning its first campaign as a program. The non-conference schedule features six holdovers from 2018 and just two trips outside the Keystone State. The nine home fixtures are the team's most since the 2012 season.

Robert Morris begins the 2019 season on Thursday, Aug. 22 when it takes on Bucknell for the first time since 2014. The Colonials and Bison will be meeting for the 14th time in both programs' histories, with this being RMU's third consecutive lid-lifter on the road.
The Colonials begin their longest home stand since 2015 on Sunday, Aug. 25 as Purdue Fort Wayne visits for the home opener. RMU then squares off with Niagara for the 14th straight season on Saturday, Aug. 31, before concluding the stay in Moon Township against Canisius on Monday, Sept. 2.
After a trio of contests at the North Athletic Complex, the Colonials hit the road for a pair, beginning on Friday, Sept. 6 at Howard. RMU follows that up with a match at Ohio on Friday, Sept. 13 and returns home two days later to play Yale on Sunday, Sept. 15. Non-conference play then concludes under the lights on Thursday, Sept. 19 at Akron.
The NEC slate commences at home for the third straight season when the Colonials host Mount St. Mary's on Sunday, Sept. 22. RMU finishes the month off the following Sunday, Sept. 29 against Bryant.
A busy October starts on Friday, Oct. 4 when the Colonials start a Big Apple swing at Wagner. Long Island is their next opponent on Sunday, Oct. 6, followed by a pair of home games against Sacred Heart on Friday, Oct. 11 and Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday, Oct. 13.
RMU begins its longest road trip of the season on Sunday, Oct. 20 when it renews its Keystone State rivalry with Saint Francis U in Loretto. The Colonials' New England pairing follows with Central Connecticut on Friday, Oct. 25, and the NEC's newest member Merrimack on Sunday, Oct. 27. RMU concludes the regular season on Friday, Nov. 1 when it hosts St. Francis Brooklyn for Senior Day.
The Colonials will also play a pair of home preseason matches on Friday, Aug. 9 against Detroit Mercy and Saturday, Aug. 17 against Loyola (Md.).
Robert Morris went 4-4-0 in NEC play last season, marking four consecutive campaigns it has reached the .500 mark or better in league fixtures. The Colonials return a pair of All-NEC selections in rising senior Kristina Kelley and rising sophomore Allie Ball.
