Robert Morris Adds Worstell To Squad

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Robert Morris University women's soccer team improved their squad ahead of the 2020 campaign Tuesday when it announced the signing of goalkeeper Courtney Worstell for the onset of the upcoming season.

Worstell, a redshirt junior, comes to the Colonials after three years at Washington State University, including a dramatic run in the 2019 campaign that saw the Cougars go all the way to NCAA Final Four before falling to #2 North Carolina.

The Moorpark, Calif. native has been a standout at both the high school and club levels as well.  A three-time letter winner in goal, Worstell won back-to-back league championships in 2015 and 2016 at Moorpark High School, and helped backstop her team to a runner-up finish in the California State Championships in her junior season.  She was named the CIF Division II Player of the Year in 2017, and was a key cog in helping her team secure the first CIF Championship in program history.
