West Earns More Accolades From Atlantic Hockey

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Robert Morris University freshman goaltender Noah West picked up his third different individual honor of the season from Atlantic Hockey Tuesday when he was announced as the newest AHA Goaltender of the Week.

The win is the latest in what has been a strong run of play recently for West. The Pittsboro, In. native was also named AHA Goaltender of the Month for December as well as Rookie of the Week following his three-win performance two weeks ago.

West started all three games in goal for Robert Morris this past weekend, backstopping the Colonials in three straight contests against the Niagara Purple Eagles. West complied a 2-0 record, including 30+ save efforts in back-to-back overtime wins for the #17 Colonials as they held on for their sixth straight win of the year.

He ranks in the Top-15 nationally in save-percentage (.931) and the Top-20 goals-against average (2.24) through ten starts this year.

At 11-3, 17th-ranked Robert Morris is off to the best start in program history and gets back into action on Tuesday, January 19 when they head to Erie for a Tuesday evening clash against Mercyhurst.
