PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Robert Morris university goaltender Raygan Kirk continued to rack up the hardware in her still fresh sophomore season after it was announced today that she had been named College Hockey America Goaltender of the Month for December. 

It marks the first Goalie of the Month win this season for Kirk and the second overall of her career. 

The Saint Anne, Manitoba native was integral in preserving an RMU shutout streak that lasted for almost three consecutive games, posting a 32-save shutout on December 10 in St. Charles, Mo. against Lindenwood that was part of a scoreless streak that lasted almost nine consecutive periods for Robert Morris. 

She was also named CHA Goaltender of the Week earlier this year back on December 15 following the Colonials four-game sweep of Lindenwood. 

RMU is 4-0 on the season and returns to action tonight when they host Penn State in the first of a two-game set at Clearview Arena.
