PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Robert Morris University graduate goalkeeper Katelyn Miller added her name to the MAC honor roll Thursday when the conference announced her as Defensive Player of the Week following RMU's title-clinching weekend.
It marks the first DPOW win of the season for Miller.
Miller picked up two wins in goal as Robert Morris claimed the 2021 MAC Championship last week, making eight saves and giving up just four goals in over 48 minutes in the clinching game against the Detroit Mercy Titans.
Miller followed it up Saturday with another strong start against YSU, making 11 saves in 36 minutes to help the Colonials stay undefeated in MAC play at 9-0. She also scooped a pair of ground balls in both contests.
Miller and the Colonials return to action today when they close out the regular season against Detroit Mercy at 3:00 p.m.
