Moon Township, Pa. – This past Thursday, the ECHL and Allen Americans announced the signing of forward Grant Hebert for the 2023-24 season.
The Allen Americans are an ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Ottawa Senators and American Hockey League's Belleville Senators.
The ECHL is the Premier 'AA' Hockey League with 28 teams in 20 states and two Canadian provinces, entering its 36
th official season in 2023-24.
Hebert joined the Americans for his rookie season last year in the ECHL, tallying 26 points (8g-18a) in 37 games played. The team made it to the second round of the playoffs in the western conference. Hebert recorded two goals and four assists on their playoff run.
The two years prior, Hebert played at the University of Maine, producing 19 points in 37 games.
From 2018-21, Hebert was a member of the Colonials, playing his first three years of collegiate hockey for head coach Derek Schooley.
Across 74 games at RMU, the forward put in 18 goals in the back of the net, along with 27 helpers, totaling 45 points. His younger siblings,

Before his college days, he was a member of the Fargo Force in the USHL for one season in 2017-18. That season he finished in the top 10 in scoring in the league, posting 54 points in 57 games.
In 2015 to 2017, Hebert played with the Cumberland Grads in the CCHL, appearing in 113 games, registering 132 points. In the 2016-17 campaign, he led all players in points with 91.
