BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The RMU Men's and Women's Cross Country had a strong outing at the Bowling Green Falcon Invitational on Friday afternoon. The men's team finished second of 10 qualifying teams and the women were third of 12.
The men finished with 57 points, just 12 behind first place Michigan State.
Tyler Paszkowski led the way for the Colonials with a sixth place finish in 25:07.2 followed by Colton Morris who was 11
th in 25:38.9.
Ryan Paris (16
th/25:50.5),
Roman Galioto (23
rd/26:13.4) and
Nathan Wentling (24
th/26:15.6) rounded out the Top 25.
The women finished with 87 points, ahead of Horizon League rivals Detroit Mercy (7
th/237), Cleveland State (8
th/242) and Wright State (11
th/274). Julia Dill and Samantha Hennen were third and fifth with times of 20:54.8 and 21:22.0, respectively. Franny Kabana was 18
th with a time of 22:09.3.
Up next is the 2024 Horizon League Championship on November 2 in Green Bay, Wis.
