MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's basketball team is prepared for their first Horizon league matchup when they travel to face Purdue Fort Wayne on Wednesday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and can be seen streaming live on ESPN+.
 
RMU LATELY
The Colonials are coming off a home non-conference loss to in-state foe Bucknell, 65-54 on Friday afternoon. RMU was led by Noa Givon who had a team-high 13 points with six field goals made. Mya Murray had 11 points and a team-high five rebounds in 17 minutes coming off the bench. The Colonials still remain one of the top teams in the Horizon League in team defense as RMU has held their opponents to just over 62 points per contest.

RMU AND PURDUE FORT WAYNE HISTORY
This will be the 10th matchup in series history between these two schools as the Mastodons have won back-to-back games against the Colonials. the longest stretch of wins in the series came from RMU as the Colonials won four in a row from the 2020-2022 season.

RMU AND PURDUE FORT WAYNE LAST TIME OUT
Purdue Fort Wayne won both matchups last season as Simone Morris led RMU in scoring in the most recent matchup with a team-high 14 points. The Colonials will look to get their first win against the Mastodons since February 4, 2023.

The Colonials will prepare to host their first conference game when they welcome Milwaukee to the UPMC Events Center on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.
