MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU women's basketball will stay on the road and close out their road trip with a matchup against Oakland on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.

RMU LATELY
The Colonials (6-17) dropped their most recent game at Detroit Mercy (2/8), 68-49.  Simone Morris leads RMU with 10.0 points per game. Danielle Vuletich leads the Colonials in rebounds as she averages 6.5 boards per game.
 
OAKLAND LATELY
The Golden Grizzlies (9-13) have struggled as of late losing three games in a row against the likes of Wright State, Youngstown State, and Northern Kentucky. Oakland is sitting in eighth place in the Horizon League standings as they've won five conference games to date. Senior guard Brooke Quarles-Daniels leads the Horizon League with 2.4 steals per game.

OAKLAND HISTORY
The Colonials have a 2-5 overall record against Oakland as RMU's last win came on February 11, 2023. In RMU's victory last season, Rebecca Dwomoh notched a game-high 19 points along with a team-high eight rebounds. Louella Allana scored 11 points off the bench with a team-high six assists.

SINGLE GAME HIGH'S VS MILWAUKEE (1/24) - The Colonials struggled to get going on offense as they fell at home to Milwaukee, 61-43. Naomi Barnwell recorded 15 points and eight rebounds to lead the Colonials in both categories. Freshman Madison O'Dell notched nine points off the bench as she was 3-6 from beyond the arc against the Panthers

SINGLE GAME HIGH'S VS DETROIT MERCY (2/8) – RMU dropped an away conference game at the hands of Detroit Mercy, 68-49. Natalie Johnson tallied a team-high 12 points off the bench for the Colonials. Naomi Barnwell notched 11 points while recording a team-high seven rebounds against the Titans.

Through 23 games RMU is fourth in the Horizon League teams in blocked shots as the Colonials average 3.39 per contest.
