Jenna Irwin has been named the MAC Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced today.
Irwin finished the week with six goals, six draw controls, two ground balls and two caused turnovers over RMU's three matches. Irwin led the Colonials in goals against Canisius and Akron as she tallied three goals in each game. Irwin had the game-winner in triple overtime against Akron on Sunday to complete her second straight match with a hat trick.
The Colonials will continue conference play next weekend when they travel to Kent State on Saturday, March 23 at 1 p.m. RMU's next home match is Saturday, March 30 when the Colonials host Detroit Mercy at 2 p.m. at Joe Walton Stadium.
