MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU Women's Basketball is set for their first round Horizon League Tournament matchup at Detroit Mercy on Tuesday evening. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.
RMU LATELY
The Colonials (6-23) lost their regular season finale at home against Northern Kentucky last Saturday, 76-52. Â
Simone Morris leads RMU with 10.1 points per game.
Danielle Vuletich leads the Colonials in rebounds as she averages 6.6 boards per game.

DETROIT MERCY LATELY
The Titans (16-15) have struggled for most of February as they've lost five out of their last six games with their lone win coming against IUPUI on February 29. Detroit Mercy leads all Horizon league teams in rebounds as they average 38 boards per game through 31 games. Emma Trawally Porta comes into this matchup ranked second in the Horizon League with 7.6 rebounds per game.
DETROIT MERCY HISTORY
This will be the third game this season against the Titans with the Colonials losing both matchups this season to date. RMU has a combined record 2-4 in the overall series as the Colonials won the first two matchups but have lost the last four meetings. In the last contest,
Danielle Vuletich notched a double-double as she recorded 12 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Colonials.
SINGLE GAME HIGH'S VS CLEVELAND STATE (2/24) – RMU struggled from the floor in this contest as they fell at home, 79-40.
Danielle Vuletich led the Colonials with 13 points against the Vikings.
Simone Morris added 10 points as she notched another game in double figures for RMU
SINGLE GAME HIGH'S VS NORTHERN KENTUCKY (2/27) – The Colonials lost in their regular season finale to Horizon League foe Northern Kentucky, 76-52.
Danielle Vuletich led RMU with 19 points and 10 rebounds as she collected another double-double.
Simone Morris chipped in with eight points and three rebounds against the Norse.
POSTSEASON HISTORY
The Colonials are 1-3 in the Horizon League Tournament since they moved to the conference in 2020. RMU's lone win in the tournament came two seasons ago when the Colonials beat Purdue Fort
Wayne in the first round 70-56. In that victory,
Simone Morris notched 11 points and four rebounds off the bench as a freshman to help RMU advance.
