MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU women's hockey alum Raygan Kirk was selected 42
nd overall by Toronto in the 2024 PWHL Draft.
Kirk played two seasons with the Colonials, posting a 23-13-2 record with seven shutouts. She was named College Hockey America Goaltender of the Week six times.
During her sophomore season in 2020-21, Kirk helped lead RMU to the program's third CHA Tournament championship. She held a .939 save percentage that year which was 11
th best among Division I netminders.
Across her rookie season she earned CHA Rookie of the Week honors twice and garnered a spot on the CHA All-Rookie Team.
Kirk finished her collegiate career at Ohio State where she won national titles in 2022 and 2024.
Before RMU, Kirk won the gold medal with Team Canada at the 2019 IIHF U18 World Championships, starting all four games and earned MVP of the tournament.
She was also invited to the 2019 Team Canada Summer Showcase camp, becoming the youngest player to receive that honor.
Since 2005, RMU has developed 31 student-athletes to play professionally.
