MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Former RMU women's hockey standout Michaela Boyle joined the coaching staff at Utah Hockey Club's Prospects Development Camp. This opportunity comes as part of the NHL Coaches' Association (NHLCA) Female Coaches Program.
Boyle was selected to assist at Utah's inaugural development camp, collaborating closely with Utah's Head Coach André Tourigny and Director of Player Development Lee Stempniak.
Reflecting on her experience, Boyle shared, "Being a part of the Utah Hockey Club's NHL Development camp was truly an honor. As an aspiring coach, it was another opportunity to learn and grow in a new setting. I was able to see the game of hockey through another new lens with valuable knowledge that I will carry back into the women's game."
Before transitioning into coaching, Boyle played professionally for the Buffalo Beauts (PHF) during the 2022-23 season.
Her NCAA career spanned 118 games, during which she played for Clarkson, RMU, and Boston College.
At RMU, Boyle made a significant impact, registering 32 goals, 19 assists, and 51 points in 61 games. She was instrumental in leading the Colonials to the program's third CHA Tournament Championship in 2021 and their second NCAA Tournament appearance.
