MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - According to a poll done by Horizon League head coaches, the RMU women's soccer team has been picked to finish sixth in the conference for the 2024 season.
Six-time defending champion Milwaukee was tabbed as the 2024 preseason favorite, earning 10 first place votes and 120 total points.
Youngstown State received one first place vote and was predicted to finish fifth in the standings.
The Colonials are coming off one of their most successful seasons in program history as they reached the Horizon League playoffs for the first time in 2023 and advanced to the semifinals after a 4-1 victory over Wright State.
RMU finished with a 12-5-3 overall record last year and were 5-4-1 in league action, earning a No. 4 seed in the conference tournament.
