BOSTON, Mass. – Today, Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) announced the results of the 2024-25 Women's Coaches' Poll and Preseason Awards.
The Penn State Nittany Lions claimed the top spot in the Coaches' Poll, tallying 30 total points and five first-place votes in balloting among AHA head coaches.
Mercyhurst received the remaining first-place vote, garnering 26 total points. RMU finished third with 22 points, followed by RIT with 16 points. Syracuse and Lindenwood rounded out the poll with 13 points each.

Alaina Giampietro was picked to the Preseason All-AHA Team. Giampietro was named CHA Rookie of the Year last season, producing 19 goals, 12 assists and 31 points. She also claimed CHA Rookie of the Month honors twice and CHA Rookie of the Week honors four times.

About Atlantic Hockey America
Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) embarks on its first season in 2024-25 after the merger between the Atlantic Hockey Association and College Hockey America. The conference fields 11 men's teams (American International College, Bentley University, Canisius College, The College of Holy Cross, Mercyhurst University, Niagara University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Robert Morris University, Sacred Heart University, the United States Air Force Academy, and the United States Military Academy), and six women's teams (Lindenwood University, Mercyhurst University, Penn State University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Robert Morris University, and Syracuse University).
