MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU volleyball is scheduled to play in their first conference matches this weekend against Purdue Fort Wayne at the UPMC Events Center. The opening match will be on Friday at 6 p.m. with the finale set for Saturday at 2 p.m. Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+.

RMU LATELY
The Colonials are coming off of a near perfect weekend on the court as they defeated Canisius and Central Michigan as part of the Four Twelve Project Volleyball Invitational. RMU only lost one set between the two matches as Hillarie Adams and Jaaliyah Evans were both represented on the All-Tournament team for their performances. Evans led the Colonials with 26 kills over the two-match span while Jaidan Hockman had a team-leading 34 digs.
 
SCOUTING PURDUE FORT WAYNE
The Mastodons are coming into Moon Township winners of three in a row as they most recently defeated Eastern Michigan, Indiana State, and Saint Francis. Redshirt sophomore outside hitter Panna Ratkai currently leads the Horizon League in kills with 224 total and 4.57 kills per set. Purdue Fort Wayne as a team leads the conference in hitting percentage as they go into Friday's match with a .244 hitting percentage through 49 sets.

ALL-TIME VS MASTODONS
Historically, the Colonials have struggled in the series with Purdue Fort Wayne as they have two wins compared to nine losses. However, RMU won the most recent matchup against the Mastodons last season in four sets. Hillarie Adams was one of the top contributors in that matchup as she tallied 13 kills to go along with two digs.

The Colonials will stay home and host Youngstown State for a one match contest on Tuesday, October 1 at 6 p.m. The match can be seen streaming live on ESPN+.
