MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU women's basketball will hit the road and go on a short trip to face Youngstown State on Saturday afternoon.
Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. and can be seen streaming live on ESPN+.
RMU LATELY
RMU is fresh off a 74-53 loss at the hands of Cleveland State this past Wednesday afternoon. Colonials guard
Noa Givon was the lone RMU player to hit double-digits as he had 10 points along with going 2-3 from beyond the arc. The Colonials currently rank third in the Horizon League in turnover margin with RMU posting an average of 16.9 turnovers in 17 games played.
RMU AND YOUNGSTOWN STATE HISTORY
These familiar foes will faceoff for the 32nd time this Saturday as the Penguins hold a 24-8 advantage over RMU. The series began in 1982 with RMU boasting a much better home record then away with six wins coming in Moon Township.
RMU AND YOUNGSTOWN STATE LAST TIME OUT
The Colonials split the season series last season with RMU pulling off a dramatic win in the first game last year, 65-63.
Naomi Barnwell set a career-high with 19 points in the win last year while also converting on the game-winning layup with 13 seconds remaining in the game.
Simone Morris also hit double digits with 12 points against the Penguins while pulling in five rebounds.
