Women’s Track & Field Completes SPIRE Midwest Open

GENEVA, Ohio - The RMU Track & Field team participated in the SPIRE Midwest Open on Saturday. The 17-event meet featured 32 teams.

TOP FINISHES

Hannah McDanel qualified for the 60m finals after running a 7.94 – she improved in the finals crossing in 7.91 in fifth place
The 4x400 team of Morgan Fuller, Lindsey Martineau, McDanel and Julianna Page-Daughtry finished third with a time of 3:55.00, which was the seventh-best time in school history
Gracie Parker and McDanel were third and seventh in the 200m with times of 25.41 (PR) and 25.72, respectively
Page-Daughtry finished second in the 400m with a time of 58.30
Emma Jiancristoforo and Franny Kabana both set a PRs in the 3000m with marks of 10:03.40 and 10:16.31 – Jiancristoforo finished first and Kabana seventh
Parker was second in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.89
Rayna Todero was second in the triple jump with a mark of 11.24m/36-10.5
Maizee Fry was seventh in the shot put with a distance of 11.85m/38-10.5
Erin Laquatra was ninth in the mile with a PR of 5:13.67
