MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's basketball team looks to push their winning streak to five games as the Colonials welcome in Purdue Fort Wayne to the UPMC Events Center on Friday night.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and can be seen streaming live on ESPN+.
RMU LATELY
RMU extended their winning streak to four games as they defeated Wright State, 74-53 at the UPMC Events Center.
Mya Murray led all scorers against the Raiders by tallying 16 points and added six rebounds.
Katelyn Chomko played a pivotal role off the bench as she scored 12 points while going 4-5 from beyond the arc.
Isys Grady rounded out the double-digit scorers as she had 11 points. RMU controlled the glass against Wright State as the Colonials out rebounded the Raiders 38-19 in the game. RMU's four-game conference win streak is the longest such streak that the Colonials have had since they joined the Horizon League in 2020. The Colonials have scored over 70 points in three of their wins on the current streak. The Colonials currently rank third in the Horizon League in team defensive rebounds with RMU posting an average of 25.7 defensive boards in 21 games played.
RMU AND PURDUE FORT WAYNE HISTORY
These two squads have gone up against each other 10 times and have split the series five wins a piece. The Colonials have lost three straight in the series and own a 2-2 record at home and a 3-3 mark on the road. In the beginning of the series, RMU dominated by winning four out of the first five games.
RMU AND PURDUE FORT WAYNE LAST TIME OUT
In the most recent matchup that happened earlier this season at Purdue Fort Wayne, the Colonials fell 68-57.
Danielle Vuletich led the Colonials with 16 points off the bench in just 16 minutes played.
Isys Grady and
Jada Lee each had 12 points with Grady adding a team-high eight rebounds. The difference in the game came in the second quarter when the Mastodons outscored RMU 22-3 in that stanza.

The Colonials will go back on the road and face Milwaukee next Thursday at 7 p.m. to start a short two-game road trip. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and can be seen live on ESPN+.
