Women’s Track & Field Completes Akron Invitational

AKRON, Ohio - The RMU Track & Field team participated in the Akron Invitational on Friday night. The Colonials participated in 10 events, seven track and three field.

TOP FINISHES

Hannah McDanel qualified for the 60m finals after running a 7.84 – she improved in the finals crossing in 7.83 for eighth place
Gracie Parker was eighth in the 200m with a PR of 25.28 with McDanel in 10^th finishing in 25.43
Ava Deming (2:20.96) and Ailena Reynolds-Diaz (PR of 2:22.36) were sixth and seventh in the 800m
RMU had three new PRs in the 3000m - Kaylee Foringer (2^nd/10:21.20), Erin LaQuatra (4^th/10:25.67) and Alyssa Croco (6^th/10:37.65)
Parker was third in her heat in the 60m hurdles and finished second overall crossing in 8.80
The 4x400 team of Lindsey Martineau, McDanel, Julianna Page-Daughtry and Morgan Fuller were third with a time of 4:01.63
Taylor Colwell was first in the triple jump with a PR of 11.01m/36-1.5

RECORD BOOK UPDATES

Parker's time in the 200m is the 4^th best in program history, besting her previous of 25.41
Foringer and LaQuatra are now six and ninth, respectively, in the 3000m
