MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU men's soccer forward Royie Rahamim has been recognized among the nation's top first-year players, earning a spot on the TopDrawerSoccer Freshmen Top 100 list.
 
Rahamim, a native of Perth, Western Australia, was ranked No. 58 overall and was the only player from the Horizon League to make the list.
 
The freshman standout currently leads RMU in goals (4) and points (10) — both marks that rank among the top five in the conference.
 
Rahamim's debut campaign has already proven historic, as he ranks second in program history for points by a freshman. He's tied with John Roach (1994), who recorded two goals and six assists, and is chasing the record set by Lucas Puntillo in 2015 (five goals, six assists, 16 points).
 
Up next, Rahamim and the Colonials return home to host Milwaukee on Saturday, October 25, at the North Athletic Complex. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
