INDIANAPOLIS – RMU women's soccer forward
Paloma Swankler has been named to the 2025 Valeo #HLWSOC All-Academic Team, the Horizon League announced Tuesday.
To qualify for the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20, participate in a minimum of 50 percent of their team's contests, and be in at least their second year at their institution. Any student-athlete receiving 25 percent or more of the vote also earns Honorable Mention status.
A Psychology major from Irwin, Pa., Swankler boasts a 3.98 GPA and earns All-Academic Team honors for the second consecutive season.
On the field, Swankler has recorded three goals and three assists this season. Over her career, she has compiled 13 goals, 11 assists, and 37 points, including four game-winning goals.
A two-year team captain, she was also named to the All-League Second Team and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District last season.
