MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU volleyball team is back on the road this weekend as the Colonials travel to Wisconsin to take on Milwaukee at the Klotsche Center. Friday's match is set to begin at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday's match is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
 
RMU LATELY
The Colonials (9-16,5-9 HL) are coming off a weekend series sweep of Wright State last Friday and Saturday. RMU won both matchups with a final score of 3-1 over the Raiders. With the win on Saturday, the Colonials have now recorded the most Horizon League wins for RMU since joining the league in 2020.  Keira Hornung leads the conference in average blocks per set with 1.20, while Jasmine Purakal leads the league in digs with 5.11 per set and 491 on the season.
 
MILWAUKEE LATELY
The Panthers (7-20,7-7 HL) are currently in seventh place in the Horizon League just ahead of RMU. Milwaukee is on a three-game winning streak, having picked up a 3-1 win at Green Bay, followed by back-to-back wins over Purdue Fort Wayne (3-1, 3-0) on Friday and Saturday. Kara Erdmann is second in the conference in digs, averaging 4.99 per set with 444 on the season. As a team, the Panthers are sixth in the conference with a .183 hitting percentage.
 
THE SERIES
The Colonials and Panthers began the series in 2014 with Milwaukee holding a 9-0 all-time advantage. The pair last met on Nov. 9, 2024, with Milwaukee getting a 3-0 sweep of the Colonials at the UPMC Events Center.
