MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's soccer team dropped its 2025 season opener to Navy on Thursday, with the Midshipmen scoring three goals in the first half to secure a 3-0 victory. The Colonials now hold an 0-1 record on the young season.
FIRST HALF
The Colonials registered the first shot of the game in the fourth minute, but it was Navy who opened the scoring. Marlee Heaven put the Midshipmen on the board in the 15th minute with her first goal of the season. Just a minute later, Navy found the back of the net again, with Chiara Cosenza tallying the goal.
RMU had a few opportunities to respond, including a shot from sophomore
