MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU men's soccer program is proud to announce the addition of five new freshmen for the Fall 2025 season. This incoming class is composed entirely of midfielders.

Jonathan Potter. "This group of midfielders brings a diverse range of high-level experience. Their talent and work ethic will not only strengthen our team but also foster a competitive environment. We welcome these young men and their families into the RMU Soccer Family."
John Krug | Midfielder
A local WPIAL product, Krug comes to RMU from Chartiers Valley High School, where he played under Mike Blatz. In his three years of high school soccer, he was a prolific scorer with 56 goals and earned numerous accolades, including All-Region, All-State, All-WPIAL, and All-Section honors. To prepare for the collegiate level, Krug spent the past off-season playing semi-pro soccer for Steel City FC (USL 2), gaining valuable experience against high-level competition.
Noah Rastrick | Midfielder
Rastrick is a native of Norwich, England, and brings a unique background to the Colonials. He trained with Norwich City FC for four years, a top English club. During his time there, he had the opportunity to train with the first team alongside professional players like Liam Delap, Kalvin Phillips, and Omari Hutchinson.
Matthew Eckersall | Midfielder
Another international talent from the UK,
Matthew Eckersall joins the program from Wigan, England. He joins the Colonials after competing in the U18 Professional Development League with Wigan Athletic FC, one of the most respected youth development programs in England.
Royie Rahamim | Midfielder
Rahamim comes to RMU from Perth, Western Australia. A versatile athlete, he grew up playing multiple sports, including soccer, volleyball, and tennis. In the 2019-20 season, he was named a Perth Glory Academy Rising Star and won his conference's championship with Perth as a senior.
Riley Cotton | Midfielder
Hailing from Seattle, Washington,
Riley Cotton attended North Creek High School. In his two years of high school soccer, he was named a First Team All-Conference player, producing eight goals and seven assists in just 12 games. On top of his high school success, Cotton is a Capelli National Team player and an ODP National Team player. During his five years in the ECNL, he helped lead his club team to three conference championships, scoring an impressive 71 goals and 59 assists.
The Colonials will open their 2025 campaign on the road at Mercyhurst on Thursday, August 21 at 7:00 PM.
