MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU men's soccer team welcomed three transfers to its roster this semester, head coach Jonathan Potter announced. The Colonials added forward Anelson Azard, midfielder Giovanni Dennis and defender Abdul Kamara as part of their roster additions ahead of the 2026 spring season.

Azard arrives in Moon Township following two standout seasons at Tiffin. In 2025, he started 14 games for the Dragons and led the team with eight goals and 16 points. The previous season, he started all 21 matches and once again paced the squad offensively with nine goals and 23 points. His performance earned him First Team All-G-MAC honors, along with CCA First Team Midwest Region and United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Midwest Region recognition. Azard also helped guide Tiffin to a conference championship during his tenure.

A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Azard played his high school soccer at Pike High School, where he earned All-American, All-State and All-Conference honors. He finished his high school career with 78 goals and 30 assists.

Dennis joins RMU after spending his freshman and sophomore seasons at UConn. During the 2025 campaign, he appeared in 11 matches for the Huskies, totaling four shots and 239 minutes of action. As a freshman in 2024, Dennis played in five matches and made one start while earning Big East Freshman of the Week honors during the season.

Originally from Tampa, Florida, Dennis attended Bloomingdale Senior High School, where he was an All-City selection and served as team captain and MVP during his senior season. He set a school record for assists in a single season and helped lead his team to both district and regional championships.

Kamara strengthens RMU's back line following two seasons at West Alabama. In 2025, he started all 15 games he appeared in, logging 1,340 minutes. As a freshman in 2024, Kamara played in 15 matches and made 14 starts while totaling 1,264 minutes.

Kamara, a native of London, England, attended Haverstock Secondary School, where he competed in both soccer and track and field. He also gained valuable developmental experience competing at the academy level with West Ham United and Bolton Wanderers.
