Former RMU Standout Noa Givon Signs Professional Contract in Israel

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Former Robert Morris women's basketball guard Noa Givon has signed her first professional contract with Maccabi Ramat Gan of Israel.

A native of Ra'Anana, Israel, Givon joined the Colonials ahead of the 2024-25 season after spending her first two collegiate seasons at Iona. During her two-year career at Robert Morris, the 5-foot-10 guard appeared in 61 games and made 36 starts.

Givon finished her RMU career with 506 points, averaging 8.3 points per game. In her first season with the Colonials, she emerged as one of the team's top offensive threats, averaging 10.6 points per game while recording 19 double-figure scoring performances, including three games with 20 or more points.

During the 2025-26 season, Givon appeared in 30 games and made six starts while averaging 22.0 minutes per contest. She totaled 176 points (5.9 ppg), 62 rebounds, 43 assists, 15 steals, and eight blocks in her final collegiate campaign.

Prior to her collegiate career, Givon gained extensive international experience representing Israel on the national stage. At the 2018 FIBA U16 Women's European Championship in Montenegro, she averaged 8.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 57.1 percent from the field across eight contests. She later competed for Israel at the 2021 FIBA U20 Women's European Challengers, averaging 5.5 points per game, and also represented her country in the FIBA 3x3 U21 Nations League.

"Watching Noa sign her first professional contract is a proud moment, not just because of the player she became, but because of the person she is," said RMU Head Coach Chandler McCabe. "The wins, practices, and games brought us together, but the relationship we built will last far beyond basketball. I couldn't be happier to see her begin this next chapter."

Givon becomes the latest Colonial to continue her basketball career at the professional level and will begin her pro journey with Maccabi Ramat Gan in her home country of Israel.
