INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – RMU women's soccer goalkeeper Emma Cameron was named the Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week, earning her second career weekly honor.
 
Against UMBC, Cameron helped lead the Colonials to a 1-0 victory, making four saves to record her third shutout of the season and seventh of her career. Cameron and RMU are currently riding a three-game shutout streak that spans more than 281 minutes.
 
The Rockland, Mass., native currently ranks second in the Horizon League in both save percentage (.826) and goals-against average (0.71). In her career, Cameron has recorded seven wins, with each victory coming via shutout, while totaling 98 saves.
 
Cameron's honor marks RMU's third Horizon League weekly award of the season. Alyssa Mella was previously named Defensive Player of the Week, while Madison Sievering was tabbed Offensive Player of the Week.
