Tabbed as the Higher Images RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 10, 2014, is senior goalie Becky Schoenecker of the soccer squad. In two games between the pipes last week, Schoenecker recorded 12 saves, posting a 0.45 goals against average and a .923 save percentage, allowing just one goal in 200 minutes of action. In a 1-0 setback @ Bucknell (9/5), Schoenecker recorded seven saves. Two days later in a scoreless draw with St. Bonaventure (9/7) at the North Athletic Complex, the native of Cheswick, Pa., posted five saves. For her efforts, Schoenecker was tabbed as the Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Week (9/8).
