Garnering the first Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week of the 2019-20 academic year is junior goalkeeper Sydney Bruckner of the soccer team. In the first two games of the 2019 season for Robert Morris, Bruckner, a native of Mechanicsburg, Pa., registered 13 saves and a goals against average of 1.13. She posted seven saves in the 2019 season opener @ Bucknell (8/22), then came on in relief in the 2019 home opener against Purdue Fort Wayne, playing 65 minutes and recording six saves in an eventual 1-1 tie. For her efforts, Bruckner was named the NEC Defensive Player of the Week (8/26). Bruckner is one of two females to earn the honor for August 28, 2019, joining freshman teammate Sheridan Reid.
