Tabbed the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Feb. 23, 2022, is freshman Anna Resnik of the softball team. In helping the Colonials go 5-0 at the Winthrop Invitational in Rock Hill, S.C., that helped stretch the overall winning streak for RMU to six, Resnik produced a slash line of .529/.529/.529 while tying for the team lead in both runs (6) and RBI (5). She produced a pair of multi-hit efforts, recording three hits in an 8-5 win over Ball State (2/18) to open the invite before concluding it by going 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBI in a 14-12 victory over Albany (2/20). Overall during the young 2022 season, Resnik leads the Horizon League in runs (9) along with her fellow rookie teammate, Alaina Koutsogiani, while sitting second in the circuit with a batting average of .480 (12-for-25).
