Selected the Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 7, 2022, is junior middle blocker Emma Brown of the volleyball team. In helping guide the Colonials to a 2-1 record in the Chick-fil-A Robinson Labor Day Classic last weekend, Brown, a native of Westerville, Ohio, posted 26 kills and 12 blocks to go along with a .605 hitting percentage. In three matches, she accrued 38 total attempts and finished with just three errors. In a 3-2 victory @ Duquesne (9/3) that concluded the tournament, Brown established a season high with 12 kills and a .647 attack percentage while also recording five blocks. Overall on the 2022 campaign, Brown has tallied 32 kills while pacing RMU in attack percentage (.596) and ranking second in total blocks (16).
