Tabbed the Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week is freshman forward Stephaun Walker of the men’s basketball team. He shares the honor with Chase Miller of the golf team. In the quarterfinals of the 2023 Barbasol Horizon League Tournament, Walker paced the Colonials @ Cleveland State (3/2/23) with a team-high 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field while also grabbing six rebounds, four of which came on the offensive glass. During the 2022-23 season, Walker, a native of Washington, D.C., averaged 6.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest while converting 55.7 percent (88-for-158) of his shots from the field. He also ranks sixth among rookies in the NCAA in offensive rebounds per game (2.68).
