Named the Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for March 15, 2023, is fifth-year forward Kahliel Spear. As selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), Spear, a native of The Colony, Texas, was named to the 2022-23 Academic All-America® First Team Tuesday. An economics major, Spear carries a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.91. It marks the second consecutive year Spear has been named an Academic All-American, as he earned second team plaudits in 2022. He is also the sixth RMU student-athlete to be named to an Academic All-America® Team on multiple occasions as well as the seventh student-athlete to take home first team honors.
