Detroit, Mich. ? Robert Morris University junior goaltender Brianne McLaughlin (Sheffield Village, Oh. / Ohio Flames) has been selected to the 2007-08 Preseason All-CHA Team, announced Tuesday evening by CHA league officials.

McLaughlin joins forward Meghan Agosta (Mercyhurst), forward Valerie Chouinard (Mercyhurst), forward Melissa Boal (Wayne State), forward Ashley Riggs (Niagara), defenseman Natalie Payne (Mercyhurst), defenseman Shannon Moulson (Niagara) and goaltender Laura Hosier (Mercyhurst) as the predicted nominees for this year's All-CHA team.

McLaughlin was a key player in the Colonials success during last season. The junior net-minder built up a record of 8-17-2 with three wins coming in shut-out fashion while holding a 3.28 goals against average and a .908 save percentage.

During the season, McLaughlin earned College Hockey America Defensive Player of the Week five times while picking up her second-career USCHO.com National Defensive Player of the Week during the month of November.
