Columbus, Ohio - The Robert Morris University field hockey team was back in action Wednesday afternoon as they traveled to Columbus, Ohio to play Ohio State University. The Colonials dropped a 0-6 decision to the nationally ranked Buckeyes.
Ohio State, ranked #19 in Division I by STX/NFHCA, scored three goals in the first half, and added three more in the second period. Ohio State's Linda Haussener had a hat trick, scoring three of the Buckeye's goals.
Freshman goalkeeper, Stephanie Seeley (Louisville, Ky. / Ballard), made nine saves on the day.
The Colonials will return home on Friday, October 10 at 1:00 p.m. to play against Siena in their second NEC matchup of the season.
