Robert Morris Gives Back

Moon Township, Pa. ? The Robert Morris University men's lacrosse team, led by fifth-year head coach Kenneth “Bear” Davis, helped organize and run the 2nd annual Christmas Carnival, put on for the benefit of Bradley Center residents. The event took place on the campus of Robert Morris University in the John Jay Gym on December 6, 2008.

The Bradley center is an organization that helps children from the ages of six to 18 that have been abused or neglected during their lifetime.

The Colonial squad worked in collaboration with the community service office of Robert Morris to create this successful event. The Carnival was comprised of various Christmas themed games that the players provided, as well as Christmas snacks and candy for the kids to enjoy.

In addition to providing games and snacks for the children, the Colonial players also interacted with them, joining in on some of the games, watching a movie and talking with the kids.

Both the Bradley Center residents and the Robert Morris men's lacrosse team found the day very rewarding. The Colonials plan to keep this tradition going as their relationship with the Bradley Center grows every year.
