Robert Morris Drops 6-0 Decision to Buffalo

Moon Township, Pa. - The Robert Morris University men's tennis team continued its 2008 spring season Saturday morning with a 6-0 loss to Buffalo in a non-conference match. The loss drops the Colonials to 5-11 on the 2007-08 campaign. 

At the No. 3 singles flight, senior Mateusz Wodzinski (Greenwich, Conn. / Greenwich) battled Octavian Stane before falling, 6-4, 2-6 and 4-6, while sophomore Sean Curley (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Woodland Hills) fell to Juan Carlos Wynter at No. 4 singles, 6-4, 1-6 and 2-6.

Freshman Robert Switzer (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island / Charlottetown) also went three sets, falling to Alexis Lluis, 6-3, 1-6 and 1-6, at the No. 5 singles flight. 

Doubles play was not contested.

Robert Morris is next in action when it hosts Saint Francis (Pa.) for a Northeast Conference match Saturday, March 29, at 10:00 a.m.
