Colonials Compete at Doug Raymond Invitational

Kent, Ohio - January 18, 2010 - This past weekend the Robert Morris University men's track and field team traveled to Kent, Ohio to compete in the Doug Raymond Invitational and came home with several top performances. Anthony Trunzo (Trafford, Pa. / Penn-Trafford) tallied the best performance of the meet by placing third in the pole vault with a leap of 4.30 meters.

Junior Charles Gladmam (Philadelphia, Pa. / Cardinal Dougherty) opened up the meet with a strong performance in the 200-meter dash and finished fifth with a season-best time of 22.40. Teammate Terrance Green (Stamford, Conn. / Milford Academy) also performed well in the event and crossed the finish line in a time of 22.61 to place ninth. Junior Dewitt Hudson (Rochester, Pa. / Rochester) closed out the list of top RMU running performances by placing seventh in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.50.

The Colonials return to action this Friday, January 22 when they host the Robert Morris Invitational at the Charles L. Sewall Center. The meet begins at 5:00 p.m.
