Tao-Brambleby Named NEC Player of the Week

Moon Township, Pa. - April 19, 2010 - Junior Corbyn Tao-Brambleby (Coquitlam, B.C. / Western Reserve Academy) of the Robert Morris University men's lacrosse team was named Northeast Conference Player of the Week after tallying his second consecutive five-goal performance against No. 3 North Carolina.

Tao-Brambleby started off his impressive performance by capturing the opening second quarter goal to knot the game for the first time, 5-5. He scored his second goal at 4:32 into the second frame to put RMU up 7-6 and then added another goal with 7:05 left in the quarter to put RMU up again, 8-7. The Canadian native made a diving pass with two seconds left in the first half that ended in a Colonial goal. He finished the game with a goal in both the third and fourth quarter. He has now tallied seven hat tricks this season and has recorded at least one point in every contest. He leads the team with 34 goals.

The Colonials return to action on Saturday, April 24 to take on Sacred Heart at 1:00 p.m.
