Colonials In Contention For Red Flash Title

Blairsville, Pa. / Tom's Run G.C. - The Robert Morris University women's golf team is eight strokes off the lead as they look to defend their title at the Red Flash Spring Invitational. Four of the Colonials five entrants are in the top-10 at the five-team, 29-player event.

Sophomore Tess Wolfe (Beaver Falls, Pa. / Blackhawk) is tied for sixth-place after firing an 82 at 5,817-yard, par-72 layout at Tom's Run. Sophomore Jenna Rinker (Slippery Rock, Pa. / Slippery Rock) carded an 83 and puts her in eight positiion.

Junior Elizabeth Wenger (Toledo, Ohio / Whitmer) and freshman Annie Bozich (Aliquippa, Pa. / Center) both shot rounds of 84 and are tied for ninth. Freshman Alee Everman (Dayton, Ohio / Centerville) put up a first-round 90.

Senior Samantha Craig (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley) is 29th after a round of 106.
