Moon Township, Pa. - Robert Morris
University men's soccer senior goalkeeper Toba Bolaji (Vaughan, Ontario /
Maple) was named the Men's Soccer Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week.
Bolaji was perfect Saturday in the team's first victory
of the season, a 1 -0 shutout of Horizon League preseason favorite Wright
State. The senior made 10 saves, seven in the second half, as he recorded his
second shutout of the season and the 13th of his career. He now stands one
clean sheet shy of tying Matt Felice (2005-08) for second all-time at RMU. In
addition, his 10 saves are the second-most in a game this season for an NEC
keeper. Bolaji leads the league averaging 6.00 saves per game.
Robert Morris looks to make it two consecutive victories
when it travels to Duquesne for a 7:00 p.m. game Wednesday, Sept. 12.
