RMU Seeks First NEC Victory at Bryant

The Robert Morris Colonials head to Bryant and have their sights set on taking down Northeast Conference rival Bryant Bulldogs. Game time is slated for 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Bulldog Stadium. The Colonials are coming off a tough 1-0 loss against Sacred Heart. The Colonials are looking to get their first NEC win of the season.

Series

RMU is 0-2-2 all-time against the Bulldogs and lost last year's matchup by the score of 1-0. Prior to last year's meeting, every game had gone to two overtimes and resulted in the Colonials coming away with two ties and a loss. This series dates back to 2008 when Bryant joined the NEC. The Colonials are seeking their first win against Bryant.

Scouting the Bulldogs

Bryant is 2-3-1 on the 2012 season and are coming off a 1-0 loss against St. Francis (Pa.) this past Friday. The Bulldogs were on a three-game win streak prior to the setback. Leading the Bulldog attack are freshman Brett Larocque and sophomore Connor Norat and both players share the team lead in goals (two) and points (five). Larocque leads the team in shots with 19. Sophomore Lucas Guerriero leads the team in assists with two. The Bulldogs are looking for their first NEC win as well.
